We are the Hagerstown Chapter of Quilts for Kids organization. Our mission is to save fabric from landfills while making comforting quilts for children with life threatening illnesses, and victims of abuse. Currently we donate our quilts to Johns Hopkins, UMMC, Summit Health,Parent Child Center of Hagerstown and CASA. We meet the 3rd Sunday of each month at Traditions at the White Swan. Hickory/Eastern School Delivery
I realized that I forgot to post the photo from the delivery for Hickory and Eastern Elementary Schools. These quilts will be used for the school's Christmas gifts. We donated a total of 31 quilts.
We are always in need of 100% cotton kid friendly fabrics, cotton batting, gallon size ziploc baggies for our kits, both 45mm and 60mm rotary blades, and of course monetary donations. For more information, or to request a free quilt kit, please call 301-223-8902.
